HabitApp by Dhairya Mehta is designed to help you track habits, view your streaks, and connect with friends for accountability. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect your name, email address, profile photo, authentication details, activity names, streak and usage data, friend invite and friendship data, and product interaction events needed to operate HabitApp.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to authenticate your account, save your habits and sessions, show your progress, support the friends layer, send transactional emails, improve product reliability, and understand usage patterns through product analytics.

3. Sharing and Visibility

Your progress is only shared according to the settings and friendships you create in HabitApp. Mutual friend visibility is enabled only after a friend request is accepted. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Email Communications

By using HabitApp, you may receive transactional and account-related emails such as sign-in links, friend invites, friend request updates, reminder emails, and product or account notices relevant to your use of the service.

5. Data Storage

HabitApp currently uses Firebase and connected tooling, including Google Sheets for operational logging, to support the product experience. We take reasonable steps to limit access and use your data only for operating and improving the service.

6. Your Choices

You can manage your habits, activity data, and friend relationships inside the product. You can also contact us if you want your account data reviewed or deleted, subject to operational and legal requirements.
